Government fees (~$25 stamp): Once submitted to Vietnam, government fees are NON-REFUNDABLE per Vietnamese law (Decree 79/2025 Article 14). All refunds above are TVK service fees only โ but rejection refunds include the government portion as goodwill since we collected it.
3. Korean E-Commerce Consumer Protection Act compliance
Per Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (์ ์์๊ฑฐ๋ ๋ฑ์์์ ์๋น์๋ณดํธ์ ๊ดํ ๋ฒ๋ฅ ), Korean customers have a statutory right to cancel within 7 days of order purchase:
- Cancel before service performance begins (before document review): 100% refund, no questions asked
- Service partially performed: Refund prorated, with deduction for work completed (subject to detailed breakdown on request)
- Visa already approved / delivered: 7-day cooling-off does NOT apply per Article 17(2) โ service has been "completed"
Korean customers may file refund disputes with the Korean Consumer Agency (ํ๊ตญ์๋น์์) if not resolved within 14 days of request.
4. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with subject "Refund Request โ Order #[your order number]"
- Include: order number, payment method, reason for refund, applicable scenario from Section 2
- We respond within 1 business day (Mon-Fri, 9:00-18:00 KST) with refund decision
- Approved refunds processed within 5-10 business days to original payment method
- PayPal refunds: instant. Toss Payments refunds: 3-7 business days. Bank transfers: 5-10 business days.
5. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is unauthorized or you cannot resolve a dispute with us directly, you may contact your payment provider:
- PayPal: File a dispute via PayPal Buyer Protection (180 days from purchase)
- Toss Payments: Contact your card issuer for chargeback
- Korean Consumer Agency: 1372 (free helpline) or kca.go.kr
We aim to resolve all refund requests amicably and in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws.
